It's like iTunes music sharing, except with video. Lanovision is an open-source program that allows you to stream video over (including Divx and Xvid) any LAN. This used to mean only computers in your house, however when combined with Hamachi P2P client, the possibilities are endless. Movie nights can now include folks from all over the country!
